Distant care solutions

New technical solutions for providing services and care in remote areas

In North Karelia, a set of eCare communication services has been developed allowing the organizations to reach their users in an interactive way despite the long distance and remoteness. Among the implemented services there were HUBLET, a loanable tablet device introduced in Vaara Kirjastot library, or advanced streaming solutions, tested by Martha Organization, which runs interactive cooking sessions and streams them directly to the customers´ own devices.

North Karelian Martha's Organization

The Martha's have introduced new ways of working and communicating using tools that have contributed to our operation (i.e. Mevo-camera and DigiMarta). Through these services, our regional contacts have been relieved and activated.
