Resilient communities

New business development strategy

Brønnøy area has a strong mining history and is home to an aquaculture industry. REGINA has supported the municipality in developing a new business development strategy for the community. Thanks to the SWOT analysis, included in REGINA´s Location Benefit Analysis tool, the community was able to develop a local stakeholder group and discuss a common strategy about how local business can work together to support existing business and create new growth opportunities in the future.

The REGINA project has given Brønnøy the tools and support to develop a new business development strategy for the community. The LBAT framework, and specifically the SWOT analysis framework, has provided a way to develop a local stakeholder group and discuss a common strategy for how local business can work together to support existing business and create new growth opportunities in the future. The LBAT framework provides a flexible format for any community to develop a business strategy.
