Between 2021-2027, the Programme will allocate 46.8 million Euros to transnational cooperation projects aiming at:
- Strengthening the innovation capacity for resilient and attractive NPA communities.
- Strengthening the capacity for climate change adaptation, and resource sufficiency in NPA communities.
- Strengthening the organisational capacity among NPA communities to make use of cooperation opportunities.
Through funding cooperation projects, the Interreg NPA programme enables communities to work with each other to find common solutions to shared challenges, to together become more prosperous and resilient.
The Interreg NPA would like to thank everyone who contributed to achieving successful approval of the programme and looks forward to supporting new projects in Europe and in the partner countries, for a smarter, greener and engaged Northern Periphery and Arctic!
