Summary
The HEISME project will (i) better utilise existing innovation and entrepreneurial capability by enhancing the business support services (BSSs) offered by multi-campus higher education institutions (HEIs) to meet common challenges facing NPA SMEs, (ii) for the first time, map and define the role of HEIs in support provision, identifying deficits, and (iii) test new BSSs tools, in collaboration with SMEs and enterprise support agencies.
HEISME will improve entrepreneurial and innovative business by providing better supports to start-ups and existing SMEs/representative bodies (e.g., Chambers of Commerce), enhancing their competitiveness, sustainability and export potential.
Objectives
The objective of the preparatory project is to develop a high quality main project application.
