Project Tourism for Heritage
Project Acronym | Tourism for Heritage |
---|---|
Project Title | Tourism for Sustainable Heritage Sites in the “Cool North” |
Summary
The project will focus on tourism as a core development platform for ’sustainable heritage sites’. The ultimate goal is to safeguard natural and cultural heritage in remote and vulnerable areas. To do so, the project consortium proposes to work on concrete challenges identified by stakeholders in our key areas, and test tools and solutions that work not only in tourism development, but also in a more general context of sustainable development.
A key innovation is to use a transnational stakeholder-focused approach to bring together currently isolated approaches to fostering and integrating regional multi-stakeholder partnerships.
Objectives
The objective of the preparatory project is to develop a high quality main project application.
