Virtually check your business or holiday options

Virtual tours shorten the business-to-customer distance

In northwest Iceland, few kilometres from the ring road, two companies have explored how digital technologies can help bring their businesses closer to potential customers and visitors.

Vörusmiðja Biopol is a certified processing space that people can rent for development and production of food/cosmetics, seminars and for private use. Due to its location, people are not able to just show up and see the facility before renting it. Digi2Market helped the company to prepare a virtual tour showing to potential customers the equipment the facility is offering. Similarly, a horse breeding farm Lýtingsstaðir developed a virtual tour to showcase their services and give potential visitors a realistic idea of what to expect when booking their stay.

In the co-operation with Digi2Market, we created a 360 virtual tour using Thinglink service. The 360-marketing solution starts with a panorama image of the farm. On the panorama view you can find visual information on how to get there, see location and description of the services, including accommodation, horseback riding, farm visit, and the exhibition.
