Visit the local artisans

New visibility for local workshops

Thanks to the transnational cooperation, artisans could exchange knowledge and experience in how to attract tourists and share business development strategies. Drejeriet, a newly opened Économusée in Sweden noted that after being in the local business for 30 years, becoming an Économusée opened up the possibility to develop on a global marketplace. The project assisted three businesses to transform to Économusées and helped them in becoming more visible and attractive for tourists by installing information panels, signs on the roads, designing the layout of their shops etc.

Joining the network of Économusées is exciting and opens up for collaborations with other artisans that have the same goal of producing high quality products out of local materials in an ecological way. Hope that an expansion of the workshop and the boutique will in the future create a more manageable workplace.
